The Magic of the Runes: Rune Scripts

Runes are an ancient Viking alphabet that carries centuries of magic through their vibration. Not only does each symbol represent a letter or letters, each one has its own specific meaning. The Runes can be used in many ways such as oracles readings, healing, magic spells, as well as, magic symbols for amulets.

In ancient times, the seeker of knowledge or protection or whatever they want to summon, would go to an Oracle and present what they desired. The Oracle would then go into a trance and the Runes would pick themselves for the person and their desire and present themselves in a certain order to the Oracle to them create an amulet for the client. Rune Scripts were carved into swords, shields, baby’s cribs and on house doors, as well as, into jewelry to be worn.

Rune scripts are the base for a customized symbol script that can be used for a personal amulet. Depending on what you would like to manifest or bring into your life, certain and specific runes can be designed to invoke those things to come to you. The design or symbols can be doodled on paper at school or work, engraved into a piece of jewelry to be worn, or a stone to be carried with you, or mediated upon, the options are endless! The Rune Script is like a mini magical spell that goes with you everywhere.

When you feel the need to bring in a certain theme into your life, abundance, health, love or a combination, a series of Runes can be chosen. These can be written in a shape or in a straight line as a “script”. I, personally, will meditate on the person and their goal and select a number of Runes to work their magic to invoke those ideas into the person’s life. Once the Rune Script is designed, a binding spell is done using intention and oils in the presence of candles, crystals and incense.
